MEMORY GARDEN Team Up With MERCYFUL FATE Guitarist For Recording Of New CD

April 20, 2002

Sweden's MEMORY GARDEN have teamed up with producer Mike Wead (MERCYFUL FATE, KING DIAMOND) for the recording of their forthcoming studio CD following Dan Swan's decision to withdraw from the project. According to the band, Dan called us up in the middle of pre-production saying that he didn't have the time needed to do this thing and that he was leaving. There are no hard feelings between us it's just the way things go sometimes. [We] immediately talked to Mike Wead, who helped us out on our two last albums to see if he was interested one more time. [We are] now very happy to say that Mike will start were Dan left off and the first thing will be to get the pre-production stage cleared.
